Pharmacy Technicians Prescribed Resources

Product Spotlight

Pharmacy technicians help fill the growing demand on pharmacists

As cost-conscious insurers begin to use pharmacies as patient-care centers, pharmacy technicians are beginning to assume responsibility for many of the routine tasks previously performed by pharmacists. This increased role in patient care, along with the introduction of federal legislation that will mandate education and certification for pharmacy techs nationwide, is prompting many pharmacy technician education programs to offer additional resources to students.

STAT!Ref is adding many of these resources to its collection, including several from the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) aimed at board exam preparation. For questions or to request a free trial or quote, please contact your STAT!Ref representative or call 800.901.5494.
